Calablanca is situated on the south Side of Javea it is approximately 1 hour 10 mins from Alicante and 1 hour 20 mins from Valencia. It is easy to get to by car or transfers can be arranged.

Calablanca has easy access to local restaurants on the Arenal (the Arenal is the resorts sandy beach) It is approximately 1300mts away and will take you between 10 and fifteen minuets to walk there along the Avenida Ultramar. On the Arenal there are many flavours of the world in restaurants and café bars. Recommended Restaurants are:

Monsoon Café – Is a Thai Restaurant which is very relaxing and contemporary. http://www.themonsooncafe.com/

There are also some British Restaurants catering for everyone’s taste.

Shopping is very good also on the Arenal with a variety of boutiques, for shoes, clothes, perfumes, jewellery to name a few.

Only 100mts from the house there are 2 local supermarkets, a very good Italian restaurant a Bank and some shops.

If you prefer the more relaxed life why not join the Spanish down at ‘Las Roca’s’ this is the rocky beach which has many flat spaces for sunbathing. The snorkelling here is fantastic as the water is around 2mts deep at the shoreline. This beach is only around 250mts away from the house!

If you would prefer to visit the Port or the old town there is a very good bus service with a bus stop only 50mts away. Here you can hop on the bus and it runs to the old town via the Arenal, the port finishing up in the old town (el pueblo).
